Just outright bad. I ordered delivery and wow what a mistake. The front desk at the hotel said they had sushi. Wow. The tuna was ok but the white tuna with skin not good. I decided to cheat a bit and order a bit more. BIG Mistake. If it is fried which they don't always tell you it is gross (Change the oil please). Do not order or eat here just outright bad food. Again just not good.

They have a good variety of offerings for their lunch buffet, starting with the standard items (Pepper Beef, General Tso's chicken, Crab ragoons, etc...), but they also have sushi, sashimi, dim sum and mongolian barbecue. I didn't have a chance to try their mongolian barbecue, but they did have the typical set of ingredients to play with (beef, chicken, veggies, etc...). They made their General Tso's chicken pretty well, as it stays crispy after it's been on the steam table for a period of time and the pieces of chicken are not coated in excessive batter. The sauce is slightly too tangy for me, but still has most of expected flavor. I did not enjoy their mayonnaise shrimp, however, because I was expecting the shrimp pieces to be fried. Everything else was pretty standard run-of-the-mill for a Chinese buffet. Don't expect too much from their Dim Sum offerings as they just had shrimp dumplings when I was there. Overall, I thought their food was average, but that is not necessarily a bad thing.

I took away 2 dinner entrees, an appetizer and 2 cups of egg drop soup. The food was pretty standard Chinese fare, not bad but not great. The problem is that they failed to put a lid on one of my soups and I had a real mess on my hands when I got home. I thought that perhaps one of the lids had come off but looked in the sack and it was NOT to be found. Fortunately, our dinners were in closed containers and were not ruined but I had to spend almost 15 minutes cleaning the kitchen counter and floor. Needless to say, I will not be taking out from this restaurant again.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Not only did they leave bits of metal in our food, we also got food poisoning from them. The metal pieces looked like a scrubbing pad of some sort was ripped apart and sprinkled in our food. With that said, we could not eat any more of the food out of fear of swallowing shards of metal. Now for the cherry on top; the parts of the food that we did eat were not only subpar but gave us food poisoning. The fried rice we ordered had an interesting, somewhat off putting, odor to it. We assumed it was simply how the restaurant did things. This was our first time ordering from there so we wanted to give them a chance. A few hours after filing a complaint about the metal in our food and being promised a full refund, I'm patiently waiting for my card to be fully reimbursed, the food poisoning kicked in. What a horrible way to spend an evening; this cheat meal was far from worth it. Again I must say... DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Just don't do it. Coupon or no coupon. Save your money. It is in the front section of the Japanese restaurant. The service is lacking. I was wondering why everyone was going to the back... for the better experience. Very lack luster Chinese food. There are so many Chinese restaurants in town, even a buffet is poor. Save your money.

More like 2.5 stars. Not bad, not great. Went with a friend of mine from work with a groupon (an appetizer, 2 soups, 2 entrees). The tempora shrimp wasn't crispy enough for either of us and my miso soup tasted off for some reason. The shrimp cashew entree was good though and I brought it back with me. My friend's sweet and sour soup was to his liking as was his food. Place seemed understaffed and it's just odd that it's connected to a Hibachi place, but that's just me

They were terribly rude to us. They told us that we couldn't use a Groupon we purchased until after 5pm, even though the fine print stated that it was valid for dinner for 2, but nothing about the time. Dinner is implied apparently to be after 5. The guy working the host stand needs to work on his personality, it was lethargic at best. Don't waste your time on this bs restaurant.

Good food. Strange having a Japanese steakhouse in the back and Chinese in the front. Server worked hard but place is understaffed.

Host was rude and told me that the Groupon was only valid after 5pm. No where on the Groupon does it state after 5. Once I showed him the Groupon, he told me to look at the purchased Groupon. On the purchased Groupon it states dinner, but not after 5. He was extremely rude and I will never go there again. Don't waste your time!

used a groupon with a friend and loved our food and the prices, even without a special rate. Had our favorite Hot and Sour soup. Delicious. Had crab ragoon, which was as wonderful and higher priced restaurant nearby. Our main courses were excellent. Service was excellent, esp. considering it was Sat. evening. Will go back, esp. now that I know where it is! Appears like they took out bar area to make Chinese restaurant area--still Japanese artifacts in room!!!!

Not bad but not great. A bit on the expensive side. They moved to another location (inside a Japanese restaurant) and it took me forever to find it.

not 3 stars, its chinese food that if you are craving the favorite will do in a pinch, but hope for a good batch of it, its around the corner from my apartment homes this is one of the places that delivers, but be prepared to pick it up if you are spending under twenty bucks. i sort of understand but this was back when gas prices werent that bad yet, i had been a frequent customer until the lady on the phone told me that. frankly i dont like thier food enough to spend over twenty bucks a pop when its just me, thier rangoon and egg rolls werent great and thier dishes depended on who was at the wok, sometimes a great mongolian beef the next time not. my general tsos chicken was burned another time and frankly i'm not ordering over 20 bucks when the guy sends it to me burned. i was at Oak Park Mall i went in for takeout to see if maybe that would improve them, tried the kung pao, was okay, i can make better at home.. not to mention i was treated not rudely but not like they cared if i ever came in or ordered from them again and my food was fifteen bucks which for the amount of chicken i got they got the better deal. i figure if i'm going to have to spend money at a place and go pick up my food and be treated decent I'll drive down to Thai Place and get thai iced tea and good crab rangoon and egg rolls to boot.

I have only gotten delivery from this place and for Chinese food it is pretty standard, and by standard I mean boring. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you just want on-par Chinese food. The best thing about this place is they DELIVER sushi. I don't know anywhere else in the city that does this. Enough said.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
